The best carbon-offsetting program

I was going to cover the various carbon-offsetting programs today, but I quickly learned that the good people at Mother Jones have already done this well. Bottom line is that reforestation programs are less effective than renewable energy programs, and the more you have to pay, generally speaking, the more reliable the program is.
